Quantitative Determination of Ions

Determination of Ions by Stripping Voltammetry Experiment Kit 990-00459.

In this experiment the students use the standard addition method to determine lead concentration in unknown samples using Stripping Voltammetry. Initially the students discover the effect of varying deposition times on the height of the lead peak. They then perform the standard addition test and determine the concentration of lead in their sample. They also collaborate with the rest of the class to determine average concentration and standard deviation for the samples.
